Samuel Walters Joins IFG Asset Management as an Investment Banking Analyst Intern

As an Investment Banking Analyst Intern, Samuel will support the Firm’s continued growth in the areas of Investment Banking Advisory and Merchant Banking services. 

Samuel Walters just completed his first year in college at Bentley University in Waltham, Massachusetts. Sam is an Honors Program Candidate majoring in Corporate Finance & Accounting and minoring in Business Law.

Sam is a Colorado native and graduate of Regis Jesuit High School in Aurora, Colorado. Sam’s current involvement at Bentley includes student government, Bentley’s Investment Group, and intramurals. Sam is interested in a future career in investment banking and he looks forward to gaining valuable experience through this role as a summer intern. Sam participates as a member of Bentley Investment Group’s Energy Sector, contributing to the management of a portfolio of over $1 million in investments and conducting financial analysis, research, and risk management.

Sam has previously interned at Mattern Capital Management, LLC where he gained valuable, hands-on experience in the wealth management industry. At Mattern, Sam partnered with colleagues to conduct in-depth analyses of client relations, processes and strategies in the wealth management industry.

When Sam is not in school, he enjoys playing pickup basketball and is a fan of the Denver Nuggets.
