Trevor Weigner Joins IFG Asset Management as an Investment Banking Analyst Intern

As an Investment Banking Analyst Intern, Trevor will support the Firm’s Investment Banking Advisory and Merchant Banking activities

Trevor Weigner is a sophomore at Bentley University in Waltham, Massachusetts majoring in Finance with a minor in Computer Information Systems.

Prior to IFG, Trevor was an intern at Melrose Legacy Partners, a search fund, where he was responsible for sourcing potential acquisition targets, due diligence and assisting in the presentation of internal investment reports.

During his time at Bentley, Trevor served and continues to serve as a member of the Class Cabinet and the Investment Group with a focus on the Energy sector.

Outside his undergraduate studies and time at IFG, Trevor can most likely be found spending time at the beach and watching his favorite basketball team the Los Angeles Lakers.

As an Investment Banking Analyst Intern, Trevor will develop strategies for clients, build detailed financial models, analyze market data and prepare client presentations, with additional responsibilities including:

  • Deal Execution: Work closely with clients and execution teams on live transactions, including mergers & acquisitions, divestitures, capital raisings, strategic advisory, and financings
  • Client Relationship Management: Generate and present ideas at client meetings as a member of our deal team alongside senior Bankers
  • Strategic Analysis: Through financial, structural, and business risk analysis, support transactions and client presentations
  • New Business Development: Actively participate in the effort to pitch and win new mandates from clients, leverage proprietary content and ideas
